USFSP Membership & Dining Alliance Rebate Program FAQ
Your Food Service Rebate is calculated and paid one quarter in arrears.
We will notify your distribution channel partners of your membership in the Membership Program and activate your eligibility for the Food Service Rebates. This happens when you sign up for the DA Rebate program and provide us with your details. From there it may take a couple of weeks to associate your account numbers from each distributor with the discount schedule and available SKU's. FSP Manages everything for you on the back-end to get up and running smoothly.
Once activated, each purchase you make during the full quarter is tracked and paid in the following quarterly distribution.

Our FSP Program is designed to work for many different types of food service, restaurant and hospitality operators.
Food Service Professionals Membership and Consulting Services are available to USA based single operators through multi-location restaurant and regional or national franchise operations.
Any business that operates a food service operation and buys through traditional food service distribution channels (Sysco, URM, US Foods, etc.) can benefit from FSP membership and participation in our National Contract and Food Service Rebate programs administered through Dining Alliance & Buyers Edge Platform.
The cost to the end-user restaurant or hospitality/food service operator is ZERO.
The food service rebates and the administration of the program are fully funded by the individual manufacturers and distributors and managed by our Channel Partner - Dining Alliance.
Currently there are over 160,000 SKU's ranging from meats, seafood, poultry and other proteins, canned & fresh goods to food service paper products and to-go containers for packaging and delivery of meals to your customers. Many of these SKU's you may already be buying.

HOW IS MY RESTAURANT REBATE CALCULATED & PAID?
HOW IS MY RESTAURANT REBATE CALCULATED & PAID?
Yes. There is a catch. You caught us.
The "catch" is very simple.
It is common practice for manufacturers to pay distribution channel partners to promote specific product SKU's to the partners largest customers. This practice is considered a form of "Advertising". These payments often come in the form of rebates.
As a Dining Alliance Member you instantly become one of their "largest customers" because you are leveraging your purchases with the buying power of other members.
Unless you are a Group Member and are eligible to receive these rebates you may not claim them.
This leaves your cash on the table with either the manufacturer or the distributor and you out of the loop.
It really is that simple.
In this competetive economy with rising costs of food & operations can you really afford to leave 100% pure profit cash rebates & discounts sitting there just out of reach?
There are many ways to maximize your rebates and make sure that all of your purchases are recorded & tracked.
If you have multiple locations or separate business units that purchase from each distributor we would need to know this and associate each account number with your Membership.
This may include additional locations receiving deliveries from your distribution partners, catering or event operations, pop-up and other mobile venues as well as multiple outlets or restaurants within your company.
For instance, if your restaurant also runs a drive thru coffee stand and has catering & event operations with different account numbers for accounting purposes, we would need to know the full depth and breadth of your operations to accurately track and record discounts and rebates.

Keep track of your account numbers and ensure that they do not change. If a change in account number is required for accounting or other business purposes, immediately notify our team so we can associate the new account number with your membership.
Be sure to upload receipts/invoices from non reporting national & local distribution partners to maximize your rebate returns. FSP can provide your team with a simple tool that will not only help you upload and manage these invoices with a single click of your phones camera but also help you better manage your food cost.
There is nothing special that is required on your end to receive a rebate. There are some terms and conditions of the program which our Membership Experience Team will gladly share with you at sign-up.
These terms and conditions are clearly outlined in our Channel Partners' Membership Contracts. There are some National Distribution Partners that do not directly report their sales of these rebateable products to Dining Alliance and we will help you to establish a work-flow that can maximize your rebates through one-touch scanning and uploading of your proof of purchase invoices to the Rebate Platform.
When you are considering changing or adding a second-source distribution partner FSP can consult with you on the availability of both automatic upload for rebate proof of purchase and the availability of deviated price SKU's for National Contracts you wish to join with your proposed new distribution partner.
FSP will periodically notify you of new SKU's coming on line and some being retired. Look at the current competitive SKU's that offer restaurant rebates to see if you are purchasing a similar product not offering a rebate.
